NAS needs updating

Description

NAS fails to install when using xorg7 due to missing a program called rmon. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=4293

This program has to do with converting man pages to html but stops the entire installation process.

Also the nas bootscript needs to be updated to change /usr/X11R6/bin/nasd to /usr/bin/nasd. We might need two scripts: one for XFree86 which may still use /usr/X11R6/bin/nasd.

Issue is now invalid when previous xorg packages were returned to a single section.

We really need to put an additional dependency in this package. There is noting in xorg7 to require rmon.

I can add it, but I thought xorg7 section was to viewed as a single package (and a sinlge dependency) which is covered by the required 'X Window System'.

I still forgot about the bootscript....which just failed on me due to the /opt/X11 installation prefix instead of /usr/X11R6. Fixing that now. I won't add another bootscript, but fix the existing one after install as the number of available prefixes is limited only by the user's imagination.

Bootscript is fixed in 6103. Not closing until it is decided if rman is to be grouped in general with xorg7 or if it should be explicitly mentioned by name in the NAS page. Forgot to add in previous reply to the comment: There is nothing in xorg7 to require rman. As mentioned in the xorg7 introduction, the book assumes that all packages are installed for xorg7 and cannot account for all possible dependencies (it'd be about 900 lines long in a simple list!). Again, this doesn't matter much to me, it's one dep. It's redundant, but if it's confusing, then it should be added

Whoops...900 lines long in a simple dependency list (like is done with perl modules). A strait list would be the number of packages. :-)

Added dependency and added boot script note.

Committed revision 6105.
