Description
Xfce needs to know about the theme index from hicolor-icon-theme to find icons at runtime. See here:

Question is, should this be an Optional Dependency, or should it be mentioned in the Configuring section?

Added a comment to the configuration section noting that you should install hicolor before launching XFCE.

It should be in the Configuration section because it is not required to build the application. That has been our policy for some time.
