the BLFS book is pointing at: ftp://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/systems/unix/teTeX/3.0/distrib/tetex-src-3.0.tar.gz
the actual file has been moved to the obsolete section: ftp://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/obsolete/systems/unix/teTeX/3.0/distrib/tetex-src-3.0.tar.gz

I went ahead and pointed the URLs to Anduin for the time being, due to its reliability. Not sure how long TeTex will be in the book once LiveTeX has been put in the book.
