    44<para>
55Now that all software has been installed, bootscripts have been created,
6 it's time to reboot the computer. Run a command like
    7 <userinput>/sbin/shutdown -r now</userinput> or
8 <userinput>/sbin/reboot</userinput> to reboot your system and at the
9 LILO: prompt make sure that you tell it to boot
    10 <emphasis>lfs</emphasis>.
6it's time to reboot the computer. Before we reboot let's exit the
7chroot'ed environment first and unmount the LFS partition by running:
     8</para>
     9
     10<blockquote><literallayout>
     11        <userinput>logout</userinput>
     12        <userinput>umount $LFS/proc &amp;&amp;</userinput>
     13        <userinput>umount $LFS</userinput>
     14</blockquote></literallayout>
     15
     16<para>
17If your LFS system consists of more than the one partition we have been
18assuming for simplicity's sake, unmount those before you try to unmount
19$LFS (ie: you can't unmount $LFS while you have something mounted on
     20$LFS/usr for example).
     21</para>
     22
     23<para>
24And you can reboot your system by running something like:
     25</para>
     26
     27<blockquote><literallayout>
     28        <userinput>/sbin/shutdown -r now</userinput>
     29</literallayout></blockquote>
     30
     31<para>
32At the LILO: prompt make sure that you tell it to boot
33<emphasis>lfs</emphasis> and not the default entry which will boot your
     34host system again.
    1135</para>
