Peter, given the feedback to this idea on lfs-dev, namely that the LSB has some fundamental issues (i18n being but one of them), do you still think it's worth putting a pointer to it in the book? If so, do you have any particular place you think it would fit?

Thanks,

Matt.

  • priority changed from normal to low.
  • milestone changed from 6.3 to Future.

Due the recent merge of the Open Source Development Labs (OSDL) and the Free Standards Group (FSG) into the new The Linux Foundation (http://www.linux-foundation.org/wordpress/?p=286) all links related to LSB are in process of migration to the new site.

I think that is better to delay this ticket until know what will do The Linux Foundation with the LSB Sample Implementation.

Closing as a duplicate of #2196. Although this was the earlier ticket, #2196 has more in depth info.
