It just shows 'Page not found!' so the gcc fix patch doesn't really exist like it's declared :P

You are too impatient. It was just uploaded this morning and will move to the url in the book at the next nightly rendering.

Look in ​http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/downloads/glibc/ for now.
