if one freshly installs X11 and KDE, KDE will crash (I've seen this case 3 times by now, one was my own LFS and twice in the support chat). To be exactly, one of KDE's subsystems crashes after another. To solve this problem, fontconfig has to be rebuilt/-installed (configure, make, make install).

I don't know why, but this worked in all three cases fine. So this has been confirmed. But I don't know if this happens only with Xorg (as in this 3 cases) or also with XFree.

I use Gcc3.4.0 ,binutil 2.15, glibc 2.3.2 and the error occur in Gcc compiler process. and the error show down below.

There is an error in msorts.c that prevents pan-0.14.2 from compiling seems to be specific with using gcc-4.0.2 and glibc-2.3.5
