Just so that people don't forget, and think that everything in the garden is lovely, in the best of all possible worlds. With gcc-5.1, I cannot view any random youtube video. In qupzilla (not in the book, uses gstreamer-0.10 plugins) any attempt to view a youtube video crashes the browser. gdb appears to point to gstreamer itself. Similar crash in firefox with gstreamer-1.4.5-series, but I have not tried that in the build where debugging is enabled. Armin has reported that building gstreamer-1.4-series (and perhaps the plugins) with clang works, presumably using gcc-4.9.2 will also work. |
