Things have changed. For quite a while libidn has been an
optional dependency. We've just never reflected this in the
book.

The mkpasswd program is now built and installed by default.
This will clobber the mkpasswd program installed by the
expect program. Or the other way around if expect is installed
after whois.

Lastly, the installation of the .po files appears to be broken.
