Looks important [ CVE-2014-0160 ] - the openssl security advisory at https://www.openssl.org/news/secadv_20140407.txt relates to this.

I have made an entry about this issue in the BLFS Errata.

comment:6 by Fernando de Oliveira, 10 years ago

Bruce, just noticed that the Errata of BLFS-7.5 is not appearing in the "Table of Contents".

Also,

s/There there/There/

in the last part added.

What I mean is that there is an entry that sends to a page of the book where the is a link to the errata's website, in BLFS-7.4. But not in BLFS-7.5.

BLFS-7.4:

Preface

Who Would Want to Read this Book
    Organization
    Errata
[some text] http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/errata/7.4/ [some text]

BLFS-7.5:

Preface

    Foreword
Who Would Want to Read this Book
    Organization

I could not find where we have the link for the errata's website in BLFS-7.5.

I don't know why, but it was remove in August 2012. We should replace it in the -dev book. I'll do it in a couple of days.
