OK, I have now got a set of test data, which works on last year's binary install in LFS-7.5. It includes a test for xindy, which does not work on my from-source-including-xindy-and-other-deps builds (PDF created, but without an index) so I will not be doing that for the moment.

I'll do this if nobody else wants to, but it might be a couple of weeks before I get round to it. As well as looking again at building Xindy (#4719 and #4647) - I built that on the version currently in the book, but I could not find any test case which worked for me, even with the binary. For the rest of it, I need to refresh my memory about how to use it (and therefore how to test that it seems to work).
