Will leave open, so that it can be checked if I did any mistake.

Fixed at r15579: rephrase Configuration Information/desktop and include 'chown -R 0:0 /usr/lib/thunderbird-31.5.0'.

I think chown is needed by firefox. Building to investigate, now.

Yes, it is necessary:

chown -R 0:0 /usr/lib/firefox-6.0
