For Mesa, you need at least the following Xorg modules installed:
- proto/:
- ? (build-time only)
- lib/:
- SM
- ICE
- X11
- Xext
- Xmu
- Xt
- Xxf86vm
- Xi
- utils/
- makedepend (build-time only)
Aside from that, you need expat installed. Remember to keep the Mesa source directory, as the Xorg server package needs it to build.
