The development releases, 2.41.x, are used because the state-of-art DMABuf renderer is less buggy than WPE renderer on some Intel GPUs: ​https://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/sympa/arc/blfs-dev/2023-06/msg00041.html.

This package is known to crash if built with GCC 13.1 and AVX2 (enabled by some -march= settings): ​http://gcc.gnu.org/PR110557 (Fixed with GCC 13.2.)
