From now on when you exit the chroot environment and wish to re-enter it, you should run the following modified chroot command: chroot $LFS /usr/bin/env -i \     HOME=/root TERM=$TERM PS1='\u:\w\$ ' \     PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin \     /bin/bash --login The reason being there is no longer any need to use programs from the /tools directory. However, we don't want to remove the /tools directory just yet. There is still some use for it towards the end of the book.
