Bruce, if you are thinking of closing this ticket, don't, as this part applies to LFS and it dosen't apply to BLFS. I'll later make a seprate ticket for BLFS.

The attached patches are compressed in the XZ file format, as I can't compress them in .gz or even .bz2 without exceeding the size limit. These patches are split in two parts, apply both parts to a fresh tarball of Linux 2.6.32.8. To unxz the patches, you need XZ-utils, which can be built here:
