There's no release announcement yet, but the thread at http://sourceware.org/ml/binutils/2011-08/msg00196.html goes into some of the details around the new release.  It just ships some more files that were missing from the previous release, but they're not required for building Binutils.  At the present time, the older version, 2.21.1, isn't available from GNU's FTP site, so it might be worth updating to avoid people asking 'where do we get 2.21.1 from?'.	enhancement	closed	normal		Book	SVN	normal	fixed
