There are a ton of upstream fixes that I need to put into a patch. Without this, libgrss fails to build with glib-2.58+, g-i-1.58.0+, vala-0.38.0+, and Linux-4.17+. The last update to this package was in early 2016, and the maintainer seems to be vanished, with just small bugfixes from the GNOME project on top. There is also a PR to go to Meson, but it is several months old and doesn't work with Meson-0.48.0+.
On the other hand, critical bug fixes are being applied. I'm going to follow the repository on GNOME's GitLab instance so I'll get emails if any new fixes are applied.
I really wish upstreams wouldn't make it so that outdated packages are needed (and tracker-miners wants 0.7.1 too, which is what I'll be basically bumping this too as part of the patch).
