Does anyone have plans on doing this one? The address book search not working properly is quite annoying and I just ran into it.

I'm not intending to touch thunderbird until I update the book to llvm-11 and rustc-1.47.0, but in the meantime I'll note that thunderbird-78.3.2 became available yesterday. No release notes yet, I looked at a build candidate earlier yesterday and I think it only affects mac OS (I guess that is what we used to call OSX, the version is now 11).
When I update llvm and rust I've got a patch for firefox-78.3-series which also applies to thunderbird-78.3, and a slightly smaller patch for firefox-78.4 (two backports are already included in 78.4). Maybe a week or more away from that.

Please go ahead and do this in the course of your normal updates of rust and FF.

Promoting to 'high' because of the last of the security bugs. I'll try and get this in with current rustc-1.42.0, I'm some way from getting all the measurements for the llvm and rust set of changes. This should just drop in with the current instructions.
