Some notes after building:

  1. The segfault patch shouldn't be required any longer.
  1. Not sure about the silent patch as I haven't used GPM

yet. One hunk will not apply however.

  1. Can drop the LDFLAGS= env setting.
  1. Can drop the ldconfig command.
  1. Probably need to run an ln -s command to create a .so file
  1. Need to run install-info as the dir file is not created.
  1. There are additional programs installed.

Status: new → closed

Updated BLFS to GPM-1.20.5

Dropped both patches and addressed all the other issues noted in the original ticket entry.
