Description
The namespace http://www.w3.org/2003/XInclude is deprecated and should not be used. Can we please replace "http://www.w3.org/2003/XInclude" with "http://www.w3.org/2001/XInclude" throughout the book?
See http://www.w3.org/2003/XInclude
The reason I'm raising this ticket is that I just cannot find a parser in Java to read in the BLFS book successfully and it's frustrating to know that it is due to an incorrect namespace being used. I've tried several times over the last year without success and end going back to Perl which is not my first choice in programming languages.

It works perfectly fine. I will go ahead and make the changes if no one has any objections. I'll wait for a few more days before doing so just in case any one else has any input to this ticket.

Wayne, I had another global change in mind as well. I'll grab this ticket and do them both at one time on Monday.

Globally replaced the deprecated namespace.
Why don't you try
find -name \*.xml | sed -i s;www.w3.org/2003/XInclude;www.w3.org/2001/XInclude;g
We would need to know that it works with our standard build tools or you can just post process it for your purposes.
