Works with FFmpeg 2.0.1 (patches included for currently non working ones which replace current ones from the book, if any):
strigi
Not FFmpeg related, but requires a sed which fixes a bug when building with GCC 4.8
sed -i "s:class BufferedStream:class STREAMS_EXPORT BufferedStream:" libstreams/include/strigi/bufferedstream.h
gegl k3b libquicktime alsa-plugins xine-lib opal amarok vlc transcode nepomuk-core
Didn't check this one:
audacious
Didn't check, but it includes its own version of FFmpeg which is the recommended one by the devs:
mplayer
Not sure about this, maybe some switch is needed. I've built it after FFmpeg, but nothing that this package installs links to any of FFmpeg libraries:
imagemagick
Patches are from Gentoo. Not sure about their upstream status. I do know that gegl and libquicktime are included in Gentoo directly from upstream vcs.
