Description ¶
I was trying to build parted-3.2 last night, on an LFS-7.4 system. Using -disable-device-mapper it failed to build, with some sort of 'DM' references in the error messages. At that time, it was easiest for me to drop in LVM2. Don't have time to test a current system at the moment, but gentoo have a patch at http://data.gpo.zugaina.org/funtoo/sys-block/parted/files/parted-3.2-devmapper.patch which might be related.
For the moment, I'll flag this up so that we don't forget it for 7.6.

I don't mind either way - I won't have time until perhaps the middle of next week.

Actually, having device-mapper and using --disable-device-mapper also hits the error, so, changing slightly the title.
