According to tags in ​https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/lvm2.git/tag/, the previous 3 or 4 versions were development. This one seems to be really a release.

That url doesn't work for me, but ​https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/lvm2.git/ does.

Checking I also see ​ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/lvm2/releases/ and that has all the recent tagged releases too.

I suppose that we can mark this ticket for hold like we do for #7556 or #7555

What do you think? Update monthly? Just before next BLFS release? other?
