All the other previous releases after .147 are gone from their ftp, including the one currently in the book.

When looking at the comments in tags at https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/lvm2.git, 2.02.147 is development, 2.02.148 has no comment, 2.02.149 is development, and 2.O2.150, 151, 152 are "bug fixes" releases. But only 2.02.147 and 2.02.152 are in the ftp repository. Do they really have a plan?

We could try to use https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/lvm2.git/snapshot/lvm2-2_02_152.tar.xz. I do not know what the difference is with the one from ftp repo.

We could try to ask the developer what the release scheme is. I can do that, but I have to go out right now. If someone does that, please post here so we don't have multiple people do it. If no one mentions doing that, I'll do it later today or tomorrow.

Replying to Krejzi:
Previous version, 2.02.149 isn't available from ftp anymore.
All the releases seem to be available at ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/lvm2/releases/

Hm, I guess I should update my URL. I was using ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/lvm2/
Thanks for the hint.

There's an issue here. Previous version, 2.02.149 isn't available from ftp anymore. Latest available version before *.150 is *.147.
I don't know how they decide which one should remain on ftp and which one shouldn't. Maybe the development book should be adjusted to that if the upstream plan is found somewhere.
