Description ¶
New point version.
This one is weird. There are changes in git from last year to fix gcc6 problems that are not in this release. I've got it to build, but need to put together the proper patch and update the book. qt4 is not needed.

Fixed at revision 17456 by updating to git version of vlc. Remastered and loaded on anduin.
The git version is much cleaner for both qt5 and gcc6.

I am rather sure that this was a rushed update to fix CVE-2016-5108, regarding overflows when using Quicktime IMA files in VLC.
