Description ¶
It is a small application used by freedesktop, allowing to configure user directories (Desktop, Music, and the like). It is required by lxqt-session

But Douglas suggest system utilities. Quoting:

Well, let me try to make my mind... It can be used by a user for setting up user directories, which could appear in any XDG compliant DE. It is not a library. It is not "X based", but its use is close to that of xdg-utils. Its use is also close to that of desktop-file-utils and shared-mime-info. Well, it pertains to "general utilities"...

https://user-dirs.freedesktop.org/releases/xdg-user-dirs-0.15.tar.gz. My only problem is that I do not know where to put it in the book: it is not an X program, but not a general utility either. I'd put it in "other X-based programs", like xdg-utils, but I am not sure.
