New point version?
Diffing this to nmu4: lots of config files appear to be missing (aclocal,m4, config.guess, configure, etc, etc). According to the debian changelog
libpaper (1.1.24+nmu5) unstable; urgency=medium [ Helmut Grohne ] * Non-maintainer upload. * Fix /tmp file vulnerability in debian/rules clean target (Closes: #841722)
AFAICS, that vulnerability (predictable temp filename) only affects somebody who runs 'make clean' during the debian build process.
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=841722
Unless somebody has a different opinion (e.g. shutting up the version check scripts), I'm inclined to mark as WONTFIX. If we do use this one, it will need
autoreconf -fi
Fixed at revision 18002.
