When we know a schedule like this, it doesn't do a lot of good to update the development version of BLFS every month. We have a 6 month release cycle and an update for a large package like this halfway through the cycle seems reasonable to me.
The same goes for KDE that has (almost) weekly releases.

Should we really update every month or so? See upstream release plan. I'd be inclined to put on hold until May or so (version 5.3.3). Thoughts?
