Description ¶
Released today. TLDR; - I don't think we care.
From the Release Notes:
FIx hangs when using a proxy with NTLM authentication (bug 1360574) Fix excessive resource usage from the captive portal detection service (bug 1359697) Bump preloaded security information expiration times (bug 1364240)
AFAICS, NTLM is for authenticating to a Windows proxy server - there is a project at sourceforge to allow this to be used from non-windows, but I don't think we care.
For the resource usage, I am not convinced this will make a difference (it is 'Web Content' which seems to take the cycles).
The security expiration thing appears to be for binaries.

I can't find the mozilla bug where it was suggested that gcc-7 broke the -Os build, but I think their view was that it was a gcc bug.

Looked in gcc bugzilla and searched for firefox. Didn't see anything appropriate.

Do you have any idea if they fixed the optimization problem?
