Description ¶
There has now been a second request on tlbuild for people to rebuild the lua binaries. The problem was flagged up on the luatex list, in http://tug.org/pipermail/luatex/2017-June/006573.html and has been fixed in upstream r44572 (although that did not apply to the 2017 source - in the end I copied over all the current luatexdir/ contents and rediffed). That solves it.
Meanwhile, users of babel have reported problems with it failing to understand the USenglish document option : the shipped files were obviously created on a case-insensitive filesystem. This was fixed in texmf in r44495 and also affect UKenglish. I'll need to create a test file to prove the breakage and then prove the fix.
