I section: 7.13. Configuring the network Script ​http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/development/chapter07/network.html

there is two methods to configure the Ethernet cards: the MAC addresses and the bus position.

There is instruction for get the MAC addresses but there no instructions to get the bus positions list.
