This version appears to have a bug in either stty or in the stty-row-column test, which is currently failing for me. I've reported this upstream and will post back here with any suggested fixes.
I've rediffed the i18n patch using http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/devel/coreutils/coreutils-i18n.patch?revision=1.30. Initial testing shows it needs a minor fixup to the tests/cut expected output. I should be able to commit the new i18n patch tomorrow, once this testsuite run passes (ignoring the known stty issue for now).

Updated coreutils i18n and uname patches are now available from http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/browser/trunk/coreutils/.
The old_build_kernel patch has been applied upstream, so can be dropped with this release. The uname patch still applies, albeit with some fuzz. The i18n patch fails on various hunks, so will need some massaging.
