Checking the NEWS files, the changes are minimal for x86 and x86_64 architectures. There is no real hurry for this release.

This version of Binutils does not install libiberty.a anymore. There is an "--enable-install-libiberty" configure option, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Probably the easiest solution would be just to let GCC install it, as well as libiberty.h.
