Description
At the switch from kernel 2.4 to 2.6, the /proc/ksyms file was changed to /proc/kallsyms. Also, using that file to verify kernel module support does not seem to make much sense anymore. Kernel module support can be disabled and doesn't effect the /proc/kallsyms configuration setting when configuring a kernel.
