Check for the availability of the files and maybe download those missing (<reference> in <unpack>).

Downloading just files done in 1.2.5.

After lengthy discussion on this (see http://archives.linuxfromscratch.org/mail-archives/alfs-discuss/2004-November/005937.html) this was deemed too much of an enhancement to go into nALFS. Moving to nALFS2.
