Chris noted in the URL that the Makefile needs an update.
A slightly messed up Makefile; changed XML2_LIB = -lxml2 -lz -lpthread -lm/libxml2.la to XML2_LIB = -lxml2 -lz -lpthread -lm But think this is a known fault.
