      First, silence a lot of warnings caused by using the latest toolchain
      by running the following command:

      to get libraries to install to <filename

      class="directory">/usr/lib64</filename> on a 64 bit system.

      <parameter>-DPHONON_BUILD_PHONON4QT5=ON</parameter>: This switch is used
      to ensure that <application>Qt5</application> version of the library is
      built even if <application>Qt4</application> is present.

      <parameter>-D__KDE_HAVE_GCC_VISIBILITY=NO</parameter>: This switch is
      used to disable a compiler check that would cause
      <command>cmake</command> to fail when using
      <application>Qt-5.4.2</application>.
