I built MesaLib-7.6, using the required dependencies but none of the optional dependencies, during a build of XOrg-7.5. The r200 driver produced a compile error and wouldn't build. I wasn't able to diagnose the error further, but removing the r200, r300, r600, and radeon dri drivers from the Makefile and continuing worked, as I'm not using a Radeon graphics card. |

make check-root fails on coreutils-8.4, because no ATTR support is built in cp. This is the result of "#if USE_XATTR" statements instead of "#ifdef USE_XATTR" statements in cp.c and copy.c. When this is changed it works. I think this is usefull info to add to the page. |

I have installed attr and acl on my system and re-installed coreutils and sed without problems. I try a new compilation and the two packages fail on the make install (without error) while copying the new build to the installation directory. In /usr/lib, libattr.so.1.1.0 and libacl.so.1.1.0 file size are 0. cp ls and sed command don't run because they can't load the shared libraries. I have resolved the problem using the dd command to copy the builded libraries to the installation directory. |
