r5405bc9 reb72c3bc 12 12 13 13 <para> 14 Start the fdisk program (or another fdiskprogram you prefer) with the14 Start the cfdisk program (or another fdisk like program you prefer) with the 15 15 appropriate hard disk as the option (like /dev/hda if you want to create a 16 16 new partition on the primary master IDE disk). Create a Linux Native 17 partition, write the partition table and exit the fdisk program. If you get 18 the message that you need to reboot your system to ensure that the partition 19 table is updated, then please reboot your system now before continuing. 20 Remember what your new partition's designation is. It could be something 17 partition, write the partition table and exit the dfdisk program. Remember 18 what your new partition's designation is. It could be something 21 19 like hda11 (as it is in my case). This newly created partition will be 22 20 referred to as the LFS partition in this book.
