Errata for the 6.1.1 Version of the LFS Book
Known Security Vulnerabilities
- A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the `sprintf' function of Perl-5.8.7. Details can be found here, and it is recommended to apply this patch.
Miscellaneous Errata
- Compiling gcc-3.4.3 while running a 2.6.12 or later kernel will result in testsuite failures due to a new kernel feature. This patch will fix the issue.
