The GNOME 3.34.1 release is on schedule for release on Wednesday. The packages in this ticket were released throughout the day today. A couple of things that should be noted here:

• Evolution contains a fix for total breakage using WebKitGTK+-2.26.0 with HTML messages
• gnome-shell* and Mutter haven't seen releases yet, so this release isn't complete.

I suggest waiting until Wednesday or Thursday to do anything regarding this ticket.

Mutter needs a patch for various problems. Firstly, here's the test output:

In addition, QtWayland apps won't start on Mutter 3.32.1 (at least not correctly) due to mime-type advertisement problems, and copy and pasting from Nautilus to a Terminal (or any other copy and pasting of an X11 app) is currently broken. There are lots of upstream fixes in the gnome-3.34 branch, going to go make a backport patch for the time being since we probably won't see a new Mutter version for a while.

On the test suite, it seems I was incorrect. After reviewing the logs, it's because I didn't have Mutter installed previously. We need to add something to the test instructions to that effect.

On that note, I'm still going to create the patch for the C&P issues and various crashses.

vte no longer has gio-unix-2.0 in its public pkg-config requires, so we need to add this dependency here.

• window: Ignore resize if fullscreen

The terminal update size function will not change the window size if maximized or tiled, but does not account for fullscreen window.

As a result, if the terminal window is fullscreen, the size is updated which cause the window to shrink because of size increments.

Make sure terminal_window_update_size() accounts for fullscreen state as well and return early in that case.
