Latest version is now 48.0.2, but from the Release Notes ​https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/48.0.2/releasenotes/ that only fixes a windows bug: 

Fix a startup crash issue caused by Websense (Windows only) (Bug 1291738)

The source for 48.0.3 is now out, but not the Release Notes.

Checking again, it seems I had downloaded 40.0.3 - should have worn my reading glasses. < sigh/>
