This error was not noted during a build of kdebase-3.3.0 on top of LFS-6.0-SVN-Testing-040712.

I haven't tested it myself yet, just putting it here as a reminder. I belive LFS updated a few packages since 040712.

Agreed. I was simply trying to provide information. The biggest change in LFS was the binutils update. This has caused many issues (most, if not all, resolved). Weird message though in the original mail. "No make target...."

This would be kind of strange to attribute to a package update in LFS. I don't know for sure, yet. I'm building on LFS-testing (9/30) now, but haven't hit KDE yet.

Status: new → closed

Updated BLFS to KDE-3.3.2 and this issue was not noted. KDE was installed on top of an LFS-6.0 system, so closing the bug.
