  • Remove fallback for _XEatDataWords, require libX11 1.6 for it
  • Replace malloc(size); memset(...,0,size) with calloc
  • Drop AM_MAINTAINER_MODE
  • autogen.sh: Honor NOCONFIGURE=1
  • use quoted string variables
  • add default patch prefix
