Patch #340 - 2018/12/16

  • suppress a spurious warning about fontsets when initializing menus for the toolbar configuration.
  • fix some strict compiler warnings.
  • improve checks for TrueType font, to help with the case of color bitmap fonts, which fontconfig misrepresents.
