fam needs a discussion of fam.conf
|Reported by:||Owned by:|
By default, fam installs /etc/fam.conf that has th eline:
untrusted_user = nobody
If user nobody does not exist, famd fails on startup. The book should create a special system user, famd, and update the /etc/fam.conf file to use that user.
Also, for security, local_only ought to be changes to true.
