openldap ./configure now has a --enable-versioning option. I'll remove the corresponding versioning stuff from the patch. It also seems to need some more fiddling.

Bugger, this looks like a bigger update than I thought, as the so names of the ldap and lber libraries have changed, and the ldap_r library has been dropped.

I will first re-compile and check/test everything depending on the ldap libraries to make sure no other changes are needed. In my case, this is:

  • apache (mod-ldap)
  • aprutil
  • exim
  • nss-pam-ldapd
  • php
  • samba

So, this will take me until tomorrow, I guess.
