Release notes at https://docs.mesa3d.org/relnotes/21.2.0.html - too much top put here, except for one item: crocus: initial gallium driver for Intel gfx 4-7
i.e. a new gallium driver for old Intel - according to phoronix that is Gen4/i965 through Haswell.
In theory 'auto' should build that, but it doesn't. Fedora list %{_libdir}/dri/crocus_dri.so as one of the files, but they use a shed-load of -D options. Arch have it in the list of installed files, I wonder if -Ddri3=enabled is the key ?
No, cannot get it to install crocus at the moment.
The change for this version with ARCH is that they added crocus to a full list of gallium drivers, which is now
-D gallium-drivers=r300,r600,radeonsi,nouveau,virgl,svga,swrast,swr,iris,crocus,zink } Shame that auto doesn't seem to pick up crocus.
