I looked into this and determined that it simply isn't worth the hassle, time and effort to download and test this version. The biggest drawback is that in order to download the new GNAT binary, you must create an account and log into this account on the Adacore site.
Then it would have to be tested and such.
For something that we already have that is known to work, I don't see the benefit in replacing the version currently in the book.
